DMR Employee John McGuire Honored

Case Manager John McGuire was named the Employee of the Month for August 2002 in the CT Dept. of Mental Retardation’s Northwest Region. A Torrington resident, Mr. McGuire has served people with intellectual and development disabilities for the past 18 years. He works as a Case Manager at the Northwest Regional Center in Torrington; he was selected by his co-workers for this honor.

Northwest Regional Director George Moore said, "Mr. McGuire is an extremely dependable, flexible and cooperative person. He represents a sincere commitment to excellence."

"I enjoy the people I work with and the folks we serve in the department," said Mr. McGuire. "I was very touched by this recognition."
