This Week on Main Street

Our new sidewalks are being poured! According to Kevin Smith of Waters Construction, if the weather cooperates, the sidewalks on the south side of Main Street will be complete by Thanksgiving.

After Thanksgiving, the crew will be finishing the electrical wiring for the new streetlights, and installing tree grates for the new trees, which will be planted next year.

Mr. Smith indicated that construction on the south side of Main Street is expected to be complete by the first week of December, after which time construction will halt until work is started on the north side of Main Street in the spring of 2003.
