Michael Silverman Receives Good Citizen Award

On November 14, the Roger Sherman Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution presented Michael J. Silverman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Neal Silverman of New Milford, with the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen Award. Each year the New Milford High School faculty selects a member of the graduating class for this high honor.

Mrs. Mary Roberts, Good Citizen Chairman, and Mr. Jack Bouclier, NMHS Dean of Students, introduced Michael Silverman and highlighted his many achievements to the members and guests. This high honor is presented annually to a student who fulfills the qualities of honor, service, courage, leadership and patriotism. The Roger Sherman Chapter offers their heartfelt congratulations to Michael.
