Let us stop again this year and think of the true meaning of Christmas—of the Baby born in a stable, who was and is the Son of God. As a long-time listener from childhood, I was devastated to hear on the radio of the death of Bob Steele. To say that he was an icon in radio is an understatement, in that he was also impeccably dedicated to responding to his many radio listeners. More ... With the passing of Bob Steele, I remembered his sending me a copy of the often-quoted inspirational passage "A Smile" after he had read it in 1994 on his radio program.
