Rides Offered to in Canton and New Hartford

Freedom Ride is a newly established nonprofit, tax-exempt organization with a simple objective: to provide a completely free ride service to the folks in the communities of Canton and New Hartford who are unreasonably confined to their homes because of their physical status. Examples would range from someone who is unable to drive at night to someone with complete inability to ambulate. Freedom Ride is now operating on Monday through Friday from 6-11 p.m., plus Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m.-11 p.m.

Our program is purely social. We do not provide any medical or business related transports. Our desire is to be able to make your life as full as possible—to be able to see your families, go shopping, to see shows, to interact with the community. We will give you a ride within a 20-mile radius around the center of your town.
