New Advisory Board Members at Wisdom House Wisdom House, an interfaith retreat and conference center in Litchfield, recently appointed two new Advisory Board members. Rob Quigley and George Goens, Ph.D., both of Goshen, have joined the 13-member board that helps to provide support and direction for the center. Mr. Quigley is an accomplished hospitality/ spa professional with experience in teaching business consulting and management. He is currently a Senior Vice President at Optimal Fitness Systems International of West Hartford, CT and Honolulu, HI, and has taught at the International College of Hospitality Management in Washington, CT, at the University of New Haven and University of Hawaii-Manoa, as well as consulting for many resort and spa facilities. Dr. Goens is a senior partner with Goens/ Esparo, LLC, a leadership consulting and executive search firm. He has served at all levels of public education and was superintendent of the Wauwatosa Schools, a district in metropolitan Milwaukee, as well as in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. In addition to serving as a superintendent in these two districts for over 13 years, he taught social studies, was a principal at the middle school level, and was director of personnel in another district. Dr. Goens has written two books and has published almost 50 articles on leadership, management, ethics, change and motivation.
