Solving the State Budget Crisis
     We all want to solve our state's budget problems. The state workers' union leaders, the governor and our state representatives need our help. To provide them with a better understanding of how the general public views the problem, I've taken a survey.

     When I attended "grammar school" in the 1900s, the curriculum consisted of the three R's along with history, geography and social studies, a bit of music, strict lessons in penmanship, and even an occasional class in the use of the library.
