Weekend Retreat for Married Couples

A weekend retreat for married couples is scheduled for Friday through Sunday, February 14-16 at Our Lady of Calvary Retreat, 31 Colton St. in Farmington. The event, titled "How Do I Love Thee?" begins with a 6 p.m. Valentine’s Day dinner and ends at approximately noon on Sunday.

Facilitators are Cheryl and Charles Cavalconte of Rhode Island. Charles C. Cavalconte, M.Div. works as a therapist in a methadone clinic while doing private practice as a spiritual director and life coach. Cheryl D. Cavalconte, M.A. teaches English at Roger Williams University and also works as a retreat minister and spiritual director.

The Cavalcontes invite couples to bring "comfy clothes and a joyful spirit" to the Valentine getaway. The cost is $275-$300 per couple, based on a sliding scale; for more info call 860-677-8519.
