In response to Ken Cornet’s recent article [A Jewish Voice for Peace, January 1]: Israel does not use its military to inflict civilian damage. That’s what Palestinian terrorist organizations do. More ... In the December 20 issue of The Voice, there was a mock interview with President Bush [Meet President Bush, by Alan DiCara]. It was quite amusing. To each question asked of our president by the Democratic questioner, the president responded: "Attack Iraq." More ... Now I only have one question regarding Trent Lott and Strom Thurmond: What are these simple-minded men doing in public service? When you see the hatred they show publicly for (white) liberal, environmentally-minded people, does anyone really think they have strong feelings for people of another race? More ... This is to acknowledge that Time magazine in fact was the source of my information that Senator Lott got his middle name "Trent" from the radio program The Romance of Helen Trent. More ... The topics of ethnicity, race and religion have been debated for many years from a range of perspectives. I think "enough is enough."
