James Hatt Speaks to League of Women Voters

James Hatt, PhD will speak at the International Luncheon of the League of Women Voters of Litchfield County on Wednesday, February 12 at noon in the dining room at CT Junior Republic, Route 63 (2.5 miles north of the green) in Litchfield. In his talk entitled "New Faces, New Voices: Female Empowerment in Third World Democratic Institutions," Dr. Hatt will discuss the role of democratic ideals and institutions in providing opportunities for Third World women. Dr. Hatt holds law degrees from Cambridge University, the University of Paris and Munich University, and a PhD from Bridgeport University in International Relations. He is former Corporate Consul and Director of International Corporate Development at Cable & Wireless Corporations and was Chairman, President, and CEO of PLD Telecom.
