A salon exhibition of photography by the members of the Housatonic Camera Club, entitled "Housatonic Camera Club Exposed," is featured at the Moviehouse Studio Gallery, 48 Main St. in Millerton. The exhibit may be viewed during regular theater hours through March 30.

Housatonic Camera Club members whose work is on display are Sonja Blass Zinke, Chris Bleuher, Anne Brigham, Byron Brown, Bill DeVoti, Mary Lou Estabrook, Rita Mathews, Ian McCunn, Kathy Orlando, Jan Tenney and Brian Wilcox. These members, from communities in the tri-state area, meet to share their love of photography, their experiences, travels and expertise, and to educate one another and the public. Members work in prints, slides, film, digital, color and black & white mediums.

The Housatonic Camera Club meets on the third Tuesday of the month from September through May at Noble Horizons in Salisbury. The Club also offers annual programs that are open to the general public. These range from exhibits and slide shows to field trips and workshops, teaching the basics of photography as well as cutting-edge technology and techniques. In the last year, HCC exhibitions included the Douglas Library in Canaan, Salisbury Bank and Trust in Lakeville, and Noble Horizons.

As part of the New England Camera Club Council (NECCC), four times a year members are encouraged to submit slides or prints for competition within the HCC. Those chosen to go on to the next level of competition are sent to the NECCC for consideration along with photographs from almost 90 other member camera clubs throughout New England.
